Sunda Energy plc (SNDA.L) is an independent gas-focussed company with a material undeveloped gas field and a growing business in SE Asia. The Company is quoted on the AIM market of the London stock exchange. It operates a PSC offshore Timor-Leste containing the Chuditch gas field and significant additional prospective potential.

Sunda Energy holds a 60% working interest and operates the TL-SO-19-16 Production Sharing Contract (“Chuditch PSC”) offshore Timor-Leste through its wholly owned subsidiary company SundaGas Banda Unipessoal Lda. (“SundaGas”).

Having completed extensive reprocessing and interpretation of 3D seismic data and numerous other technical studies, SundaGas is now in advanced preparations for drilling of a milestone appraisal well, scheduled for early 2025. The Chuditch-2 well will be drilled with the objectives of validating the resources assessed by SundaGas’ work and the CPR, plus the carrying out of a production flow test (DST) to establish the potential flow rates that may be achieved in an anticipated future development. Drilling of the well is subject to funding, which is being addressed through ongoing financing initiatives.
