Matt graduated from Edinburgh University in 1994 with a BCOM (Hons) degree in Accounting and Business Finance.

Post University, Matt worked for the finance department of the United Nations in Rome for one year and then returned to the UK to join Goldman Sachs where he spent a total of nine years. At Goldman Sachs, Matt was part of a top ranked European Chemicals Research team where he co-covered 16 large cap stocks.

Post Goldman Sachs, Matt established and led the Equity research function at Noble & Co. Matt joined Allenby Capital in February 2009 to build its Investment Research function.
